As part of the membership campaign outlined in APPO’s roadmap, the Secretary General, H.E. Mr. Farid Ghezali, was received in audience this Wednesday, April 29, 2026, by H.E. the Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia accredited to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The discussions focused on the prospects for Tunisia’s 🇹🇳 integration as a member country of the Organization, as well as on ways to strengthen African energy cooperation.
On this occasion, the Secretary General highlighted the importance of energy hubs, integration corridors, the sharing of expertise, and the coordinated valorization of African resources as drivers of action-oriented pan-Africanism.
Both parties agreed to intensify exchanges with the Tunisian high authorities in order to continue this institutional dialogue.
