On 17 April 2026, the Board of Directors of the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AEIN) approved the application of the APPO Legal Counsel, Mr. Bakamba Loguelko to join AEIN. This approval comes following the request submitted by the interested party after his participation in the seminar organized in Cairo in February 2026 by the AIEN on the international negotiations of oil and gas contracts, on the initiative of the Secretary General of APPO, H.E. Farid Ghezali.
The accession of the Legal Counsel to AEIN on behalf of APPO marks an important milestone in APPO’s growth and visibility internationally.
AEIN is a group of players in the energy sector on a global scale that was founded in Houston in the United States in 1980. These activities cover the entire value chain of oil and gas operations and commercial negotiations of these activities.
Its members include engineers, technicians, commercial and lawyers, from oil companies and law firms, as well as representatives of host governments and national oil companies. The presence of the APPO Legal Counsel at the AEIN gives him access to a wide range of resources and technical knowledge and an opening to a network of professionals that he will not fail to share with his legal colleagues in the Member Countries of the Organization.
