Brazzaville, 06 September 2023: The Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, His Excellency, Mr. Azeddine RIACHE was the guest of the Secretary General of the APPO, His Excellency, Dr. Omar Farouk Ibrahim, on 06 September 2023.
This visit, which is part of the ambassador’s presentation and contact tour to the diplomatic corps accredited in the Republic of Congo, allowed the two diplomats to exchange at length on the energy challenges posed by the energy transition, the issues of strengthening the link of cooperation between Algeria and APPO and the forum of ambassadors initiated by the organization to allow diplomats of Member Countries accredited to Congo to exchange on issues of common interest.
His Excellency, Mr. Azeddine RIACHE stressed the need for enhanced mutual cooperation among African countries to enable Africa to play a leading role in global circles. While thanking the Ambassador for his courtesy visit, His Excellency Dr. Omar Farouk Ibrahim reaffirmed the Organization’s willingness to work together with Member Countries through their embassies accredited to the Republic of Congo.
